Rome total war 2 crash

Now with my new system, I am guaranteed to get a crash to desktop with the exact error: 'VirtualAlloc (at place 2) returned NULL!'.

I used to play this all the time with my old battered system with no issues whatsoever.

I have recently bought a new gaming PC, and was excited to play one of my favourite games: Total War: Rome 2, which I play with a specific overhaul mod called Divide et Impera.
